Education Can Make You a Millionaire

I recently read an article by Liz Pulliam Weston about how 4 people from modest means became millionaires.

One woman, Linda, is quite inspiring. At 48, Linda had gone through 2 divorces and had lupus. She had no medical insurance and no college education. She noticed that pipe designers, an engineering field in oil and gas, had high starting salaries, so she contacted a local community college to see if they had classes in that field. She made sacrifices and now she is a millionaire.

Getting a college education and making wise financial decisions can make you a millionaire.

Read about her story and others here for inspiration and ideas:

The Purpose of this Blog

The purpose of this blog is to help people further their education with little or no college debt.

I will post ideas on how to seek money to pursue your dream.

I will also post links for scholarships, internships, and other opportunities.

Resources for Adult and Nontraditional Learners

I found the initial web site for 2 and 3 from this list. I had to chop the web address though to http://www.executivewomen.org and look under scholarships. Often, web links will change and one way to discover the link is to go to the core of the address or google the organization.

This is the beginning.
