I know I haven't blogged in a long time, but I am gearing up to publish my ebook next year, so I decided I better do the Web 2.0 thingie and provide some information.
Anyway, I had a student who was interested in becoming a film director, so I googled video student competitions and found this great handout from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.

Much like anything, information is most likely useful if you use it.
