For the artistic types, check out this contest where your ability to draw is what helps you win.

You have to be a legal resident of the 50 United States or Washington, D.C., who are 6 years of age or older. Minors are required to get the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

The three age groups for this contest: kids (6-12), teens (13-18), and adults (19+).

The first place in each age group is $2,500 Educational Scholarship and a Red Vines Prize Pack or $2,500 Visa Gift Card and a Red Vines Prize Pack.

A recent article of Forbes.com by Natalie Doss lists colleges that help their students from all kinds of background prosper after they graduate.

Doss writes, “Our list doesn't just rank the schools where graduates make the most money. Instead, we're interested in schools that raise their students above salary expectations. These are the colleges who can take a group of students that, statistically speaking, shouldn't go on to earn much, and help them beat the odds and make big bucks.”
